'Construction companies can use this tool to make their projects run more efficiently and smoothly, raise quality to a higher level, and at the same time reduce failure costs,' says John.

He continues: 'The latter is very interesting when you know that the margin on a project for a construction company is about 2.5%, while the failure costs are somewhere between 5 and 15%. You can imagine that bringing those failure costs down makes a big difference. In short, Digital Construction File is a user-friendly software tool that provides Document Management, Quality Assurance and Completion File. All files, such as quotations, drawings, reports and inspections are conveniently arranged together. Using the dashboard, you can see at a glance what the current status is and what still needs to be done. And at the end of the process a digital construction file rolls out that is already Wkb-proof. It couldn't be easier.
No training required
Berend: "Digitization is a must for innovation and quality in construction, but it only works if it works clearly and simply. We therefore based the development of the tool on the user. We have kept it as simple as possible, and therefore anyone can work with it very easily. No training is needed; a demonstration once is enough.'
