'We always want to provide added value and service,' says Pieter-Jan Kreemers, account manager of Polyfilla Pro. 'With the guarantee window frame, we distinguish ourselves from other suppliers. We have devised a sustainable way to renovate window frames. What is still good remains intact; what is bad, we repair with a specially modified high-quality thermosetting plastic that can be (re)processed perfectly and adheres excellently. The material retains its shape, does not absorb moisture, and, like wood, is easy to process and paint over.'
Unburdening
'Many painters do know where to find us,' says Pieter-Jan, 'but we also work for clients such as housing corporations, hospitals and government agencies. We hope to meet those parties here at the trade fair, because the guarantee frame concept was developed primarily to relieve them of their worries. For individuals, this method of renovation is not worthwhile, but in the case of multiple residential units, there are significant savings to be made. At the fair, we show by means of a set-up what such a sustainable window frame renovation will look like in a number of steps. It starts with frame 1 where the wood rot can be clearly seen. Then we show the process from installing the nose lath to replacing part of the lower lintel. Frame 5 is completely repaired and already neatly repainted; like new.'
