ATAG recently opened a number of so-called ComfortCenters, in Putten, 't Harde and Hoogeveen. ATAG wants to offer consumers easily accessible advice, explanations and concrete solutions for making their homes more sustainable. The aim is to open at least five ComfortCenters in each province by the end of the year.

The ComfortCenters are a collaboration between ATAG Heating and the GreenDealers affiliated with the company. These are installers committed to sustainable heating solutions and supported by ATAG Heating. Since the company introduced this new dealer model in the middle of last year, 259 GreenDealers have joined ATAG Heating.

Many consumer questions

At ATAG, they noticed that there are a lot of questions among consumers about making homes more sustainable. "Especially given the confusion about the balancing and feed-in costs of solar panels, the discussion about grid congestion and the plans of a new cabinet to no longer require a hybrid heat pump when replacing the boiler from 2026," says Rob Maassen, Country Manager Netherlands of ATAG Heating. "That's why we seek out those consumers with our ComfortCenters. In this way we combine the knowledge of the local installer with the strength of a Dutch manufacturer that has been known for decades for high-quality heating solutions."

The ComfortCenters are equipped shop-in-shops at ATAG GreenDealers. The location is a conscious choice because the GreenDealer knows exactly what consumers in their area of operation need and what questions they have, says ATAG. Any consumer can simply walk into the GreenDealer to ask his or her questions about sustainability.

Energy transition continues

ATAG Heating is convinced that the energy transition continues and that consumers want a sustainable alternative when replacing a boiler. The recurring question then is which solution is most suitable for making the home more sustainable. The answer depends on things like the degree of insulation and available space. In the ComfortCenters, consumers can get information and explanations about hybrid heat pumps, all-electric solutions and heat pump boilers, as well as which boiler is suitable for a combination with a heat pump.
