In the Netherlands, renovation of first floor floors in older homes is often necessary due to poor insulation, drafts and wood rot. Modern renovation methods make it possible to replace these floors quickly and efficiently.

Renovating flooring, especially in older homes, has a major impact on energy savings, moisture and mold prevention and comfort. "A high-quality floor renovation provides even heat distribution and can save up to 15 percent on energy costs," said commercial director Earl Kemp.

For housing associations, specifiers and contractors, the benefits of durability, insulation value and minimal inconvenience to residents are important factors when choosing a prefabricated renovation floor. Additional services, such as underfloor heating, treatment of mold in the crawl space and plumbing and electrical work, also make it a point of contact for complete floor renovation.

The experienced renovation company Compofloor works with prefabricated, custom-made floor elements, consisting of insulated floor cassettes that meet at least new construction requirements. The cassettes are lightweight, so they can be easily and safely assembled by the company's own assembly crews, without affecting the load-bearing capacity of the existing foundation.

100% prefabricated
Prefabrication offers advantages in terms of time, cost, quality and sustainability. This is an efficient and forward-looking way to meet the growing demand for residential construction and infrastructure. "By prefabricating our floor elements at our own production site, we save time on site and produce less waste," says Earl Kemp.
