Do your knee pads slip down, twist out of place, or get in the way while you’re working? According to product developer René van Rijn, there’s a better way. Much better, in fact. At BouwBeurs 2027, he’ll be presenting the KNEEEZ knee pad for professionals. Visitors don’t have to take his word for it: they can put them on themselves, kneel in them, and test them out on various surfaces.
Van Rijn knows what he’s talking about. As co-founder and developer of FENTO, he was there at the very beginning of a successful brand in professional knee protection. But even after years of experience, he’s still brimming with ideas for innovation and improvement. “There’s still so much potential in knee protection. You can keep improving it with different materials, fasteners, and designs. For us, this first KNEEEZ knee guard is just the beginning.”
At KNEEEZ, everything revolves around one principle: a knee pad must fit well and stay in place. That’s why a great deal of attention has been paid to fit, stability, and freedom of movement. The KNEEEZ knee pad is available in two sizes to better accommodate different knee shapes. The extra-wide elastic strap with silicone anti-slip material helps prevent the protector from slipping down, shifting, or twisting around the knee.
There’s plenty going on below the knee, too. Springy support helps distribute pressure while kneeling, while rings in the sole make turning and maneuvering easier. The sleek design combines support with freedom of movement for professionals who work on their knees every day, from paving contractors to roofers and landscapers.
And this first model is just the beginning. Van Rijn has more ideas for materials, designs, and fastenings. BouwBeurs 2027 thus marks the launch of a new line of professional knee protection. At the trade show, visitors will have the opportunity to try on the KNEEEZ knee pads themselves and test them on various surfaces. After all, a good fit and freedom of movement are best judged by yourself.
“Our goal is to set the new standard in knee protection. But ultimately, it’s up to the professional to decide. So: put them on, get down on your knees, and see for yourself how KNEEEZ stays in place.”
