The largest construction event in the Netherlands is once again putting itself firmly on the map. From Monday, February 6 to Friday, February 10, BouwBeurs 2023 will take place in Royal Jaarbeurs. Central to the event is the transition in construction with the themes of circularity, industrialization and digitalization. This makes the event a must for everyone in construction: from client to craftsman, from architect to supplier. The BouwBeurs is full of innovation, sustainability and partnerships aimed at future-proofing the construction industry. Joyce van Hoef, BouwBeurs exhibition manager: "After a four-year absence due to corona, we noticed a great need among visitors and exhibitors to meet and inspire each other. With BouwBeurs 2023, we are bringing the entire construction sector together again."

Central themes: circularity, industrialization and digitization

BouwBeurs 2023 is all about the latest developments within the construction sector. Joyce van de Hoef, BouwBeurs exhibition manager: "We are coming up with a large number of new sections on circularity, industrialization and digitalization. For example, there is a special Circle Theater where visitors can gain knowledge about circular design and construction. In addition, there is the Techforum where the theme of digital building is explained. Also new are the BouwBeurs Awards, innovations by exhibitors that deserve market attention. The winners will be announced during the fair. In addition, the familiar activities such as competitions and various demos are back on the program."

A market in transition, urgency to work together is high

At the BouwBeurs, visitors can expect many new trends and attend practical demonstrations of new techniques. There are also plenty of innovations in the areas of prefab, building materials such as glass and wood and other innovations. But there is also plenty of room for networking, substantive debates and entertainment. "We strongly believe in a mix of professional development and the sharing of relevant knowledge. Nitrogen, the energy crisis, the pressure on construction to be CO2 neutral by 2050, it makes us all feel the urgency to work together and exchange knowledge and experience. Together we are making construction future-proof and we are looking forward to providing the platform for that next February and connecting the market," said Joyce van de Hoef.Registration for visitors is now open. Entry to the event is free by invitation of exhibitors, partners or the organization.
