Van Dorp acquires Installatietechniek Hartog

Installation company Van Dorp has reached an agreement to acquire the shares of Installatietechniek Hartog of Nijmegen. This company, with a history of 75 years, focuses on technical installations, plumbing, roofing and renewable energy. Installatietechniek Hartog has an annual turnover of € 6 million and 25 employees. This acquisition strengthens the nationally operating Van Dorp in the Nijmegen region.

For the time being, Installatietechniek Hartog will continue to carry out its activities under its current company name, with day-to-day operations remaining in the hands of Director Frans Hartog for the time being. In time he will hand over the baton to Van Dorp and Installatietechniek Hartog will be fully integrated as a Van Dorp branch.

Frans Hartog explains, "This cooperation with Van Dorp is a carefully considered decision. It ensures the continuity of our company and opens doors to new opportunities. Our clients and customers will benefit from a solid organization, efficient work processes and modern IT systems. We therefore look forward with confidence to a successful new phase for our company, within the Van Dorp family."

Robby de Reus (Regional Director Van Dorp) adds: "I am proud of this step, which significantly strengthens our presence in the Nijmegen region. Hartog's rich history, expertise and customer base are very valuable to us. We are determined to join forces and together contribute to a better world for future generations."
